11-year-old Edmonton girl found safe and unharmed Friday after going missing for three days

In a statement Friday afternoon, the Edmonton Police Service said Lexani Stettner was found after she was last seen leaving her west-end home Tuesday night around 9 p.m. and last heard from on social media at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.

In a statement Friday afternoon, the Edmonton Police Service said Lexani Stettner was found after she was last seen leaving her west-end home Tuesday night around 9 p.m. and last heard from on social media at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Police issued a release Thursday afternoon asking for the public’s assistance in locating Stettner, noting concern for her well-being as she wasn’t believed to be dressed for the frigid weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the search for 21-year-old Davinia McKinney (nee Carter) is still ongoing after police issued a release about her disappearance Thursday morning. McKinney was last seen leaving her Belmead home near 182 Street and 90 Avenue Tuesday evening after speaking with her husband on a social media app around 7:30 p.m.

She left on foot, leaving her purse, cell phone and wallet behind, and it’s believed she wasn’t dressed for the cold weather. Her disappearance is considered out of character. Police and her family are concerned for her well-being. McKinney is white with shoulder-length brown hair. She stands five-foot-seven and weighs about 120 pounds.
