Albertans will continue to change their clocks twice a year after the “no” side narrowly won the daylight time referendum.

On Tuesday, Elections Alberta released the results of the Oct. 18 referendum in which voters were asked “Do you want Alberta to adopt year-round DST, which is summer hours, eliminating the need to change our clocks twice a year?”

Of those who cast ballots, 50.1 per cent answered “yes,” while 49.9 per cent said “no.”
