Three people have been arrested after police seized guns and drugs in Lacombe last week.
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) worked with local police to search a home and a vehicle in the community on May 5, said a news release issued Wednesday.
ALERT seized methamphetamine, pills, two handguns and three rifles from the home.
“Organized crime impacts every community, and this investigation is a strong example of police agencies working together to take drugs and guns off the street,” said Insp. Sean Boser.
Charges are now pending against the three individuals.
Lacombe is approximately 125 kilometres south of Edmonton.
