Autopsy results in Saturday northwest death shows no indication of foul play

An autopsy in a Saturday death in northwest Edmonton shows there no is no indication foul play, say city police.

Northwest division officers responded to reports of a dead female around 10:50 a.m. near 129 Street and 128 Avenue. In a news release issued Monday, police called the death suspicious and said the homicide section was taking over the investigation.

On Wednesday, an autopsy revealed no indication of foul play. The manner and cause of death are under investigation and pending a toxicology report.

Police are investigating two other deaths that have occurred in the past week and have been deemed suspicious. Autopsies are scheduled in both cases.
