Three people were taken to hospital Tuesday after a collision between a semi-truck and a Ford Fusion on the southern edge of the city.
Edmonton police said a 13-year-old boy was airlifted by STARS in critical condition and two women from the same vehicle – a 32 year old and a 29 year old – were also sent to hospital.
The boy was in serious but stable condition as of Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at 4:30 p.m.at the intersection of 50 Street and 41 Avenue, according to police.
The 32-year-old man driving the semi-truck sustained minor injuries.
Police say charges are pending.
