City police have laid several child pornography charges against a 26-year-old Edmonton man who was running an unlicensed day-home.

Edmonton police began investigating the man in September 2020 after allegations of child pornography were brought to their attention, an EPS news release said Friday. On Sept. 6 a search warrant was carried out at the man’s southeast Edmonton home.

Nicholas Baglole-Gaudet, 26, was initially charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography. Since those charges were laid, investigators have laid four counts of producing child pornography, one count of voyeurism and one count of breaching bail conditions against Baglole-Gaudet.

Police said they believe there may be additional victims. They are asking parents of children who may have attended the southeast Edmonton day-home to contact EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a cellphone.
