Alberta’s officials will give an update on COVID-19 Thursday afternoon.
Chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw as well as Dr. Verna Yiu, president and CEO, Alberta Health Services, will hold a press conference at 3:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, the province reported 38 more deaths as active cases of the virus continue to fall.
Alberta also reported 652 new cases and 14,218 active cases in the province as well as a decrease in hospitalizations with 1,027 patients in the hospital with 236 in intensive care.
