My take

1. The Oilers have lost Adam Larsson and Ethan Bear on the right side, filling with Tyson Barrie and Cody Ceci. The best is that Ceci can provide some of the defence that Larsson provided, and that he’ll be a better defender than Ethan Bear. How likely is that? I haven’t seen the player enough to offer a solid take and reviews are mixed of his defensive acumen.

2. That is a lot of money on a long term for Ceci. He’s just 27, so still in his prime, but can he make good on that deal? The Oilers. pro scouts had better have nailed this one.
