Drivers are asked to avoid Queen Elizabeth Park Road as fire crews battle multiple fires in the area.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the road, which leads down to the Walterdale Bridge, after several fires were lit in the river valley near the Kinsmen Sports Centre Monday evening.
Officers arrested a man in connection to the fires, and arson charges are pending, police spokesman Scott Pattison said in a statement.
Police are unable to confirm whether the fires are connected to those set in the river valley last week.
