An abandoned building caught fire early Monday morning in north Edmonton, sending heavy black smoke through the roof into the air.
Fire crews were called at 3:19 a.m. Monday morning about a structure fire near 132 Avenue and 114 Street, according to Edmonton Fire Rescue Services.
They arrived by 3:25 a.m. to a find an empty commercial building ablaze.
Firefighters continued to fight the flames through the morning hours. It was declared under control at 9:13 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
