Edmonton Oilers’ next two games in Montreal have been postponed to a future date due to two Canadiens players being in the NHL’s COVID protocols, the league announced late Tuesday afternoon. The Habs will also be forced to reschedule a game this upcoming weekend vs. Ottawa Senators, while the Oilers are cleared to play in Toronto on Saturday night, March 27.

From an Oilers perspective, they’ll leave Montreal with 0 games played of their scheduled three-game series, creating a significant headache down the road.
