Edmonton police have closed an area near Commonwealth Stadium while homicide detectives investigate a suspicious death.
On Thursday morning, a police spokesperson said officers had blocked off the area surrounding 92 Street and Stadium Road. The spokesperson did not provide any information about the deceased.
If the death is confirmed a homicide, it would be Edmonton’s 20th of the year.
