Edmonton police seek public's help in identifying fraud suspect

Edmonton police are asking the public to help identify a suspect in connection with a fraud involving a stolen credit card.

Police say they received a report on June 10 from a complainant who said he had been notified that his credit card had been used three times the day before for purchases adding up to more than $11,000. According to police, it is believed the credit card was stolen from the complainant’s mailbox.

Police went to the store where the credit card had been used and recovered video footage of a male suspect driving a black Pontiac Torrent with mismatched front and rear wheel rims as well as a white triangular sticker on the rear driver’s side window.
