On Saturday, detectives appealed for tips in a Thursday night double shooting near 106 Street and 23 Avenue that left one man injured and another dead.
A suspicious black truck was spotted in the area around the time of the shootings.
“Investigators believe that a black truck, possibly a Dodge Ram, that was in the area at the time may be linked to the shooting and are hopeful someone may have information about the vehicle,” police said in a Saturday evening appeal.
Officers in southeast Edmonton responded to reports of a shooting around 9 p.m. Thursday. Two injured males in their 20s were taken to hospital. One died of his injuries. The other man was later released.
No arrests have been made.
