This weather reminds me of all the movies about young love in the dog days of summer. I hate to say it but get ready for the heartbreak of fall. It’s right around the corner and the signs are already starting to pop up. There are already leaves changing colours and some mornings there is that fall chill in the air. The days are getting shorter and the average temperature keeps getting cooler.
A couple of fun events that popped up this weekend were first-ever Quidditch Cup held at Coronation Park on Saturday and the annual McKernan Outdoor Music Festival at Gowan Park. Yesterday’s concert features the Jones Boys who performed bluegrass and folk tunes and a unique and eclectic lineup of musicians performing everything from R & B to alternative. Scroll down to see more photos from both events.
