A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Every day I write this I add a section that has the record high and the record low. Every day this week the average low is from 2008. Minus 10 on April 23? See! It could be worse!

That also happens to be the year I married my wonderful husband. (Love you!) It’s no wonder why I was acting like a basketcase as the spring didn’t seem to want to start and I feared that there wouldn’t be green leaves on the trees by June. Not quite full-on bridezilla but it was an honest concern. We were planning on doing all the photos outdoors, mostly around my parent’s farm, which has so many options for backdrops.

Thankfully by June, the weather had smartened up and there were plenty of leaves on the trees. So I was all worked up over nothing.

So two positives on a less than average Friday in April. One, it could be worse and two, by June the weather should smarten up! (hopefully)
