I hate pumpkin spice. There, I said it. I enjoy one slice of pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, once a year and that is it. It belongs in one place and one place only, pumpkin pie. You will not catch me drinking a pumpkin spice latte, eating a pumpkin spice muffin, or lighting a pumpkin spice candle. It is not for me.
There are plenty of things I love about fall. I love the colourful leaves and my absolute favourite is wearing warm cozy sweaters and getting snuggled in and watching scary movies.
The weather for the first day of fall looks beautiful. We are expecting a daytime high of 21 C with a fall breeze. I do hope those beautiful fall coloured leaves stick around for a bit longer. I really don’t feel like raking.
