It will be a cloudy day in Edmonton today with a chance of morning showers. Not a terrible day by any estimation and likely a nice little break because it looks like the heat and sunshine return for the week.

This is the perfect weather for all the exciting events that are going on throughout the city this week. Attendance at all the events has been high and it seems that people are excited to get back out there after 16 months of solitude.

Today the sun will be kind and allow you to enjoy the events with a slightly smaller chance of becoming a lobster. The rest of the week there is no avoiding the sunshine. Remember to put on your sunscreen and hat, drink lots of water and escape to the shade when you can. Most of all, keep having fun!
