Frost warnings were in effect overnight and in areas around Edmonton, temperatures were right on the edge of dipping below zero. I hope you took the time to cover up your plants to protect them. My tomatoes were safely tucked in last night to keep my tasty treats warm and cozy.
It’s hard to believe how quickly the fall shows itself once August comes to a close. The average daytime high and low are getting cooler each day. It won’t be long and the overnight lows will start to consistently be near the freezing mark.
The long weekend is going to be pretty great! Today’s high is expected to hit 22 degrees with sunny skies all day long. The rest of the weekend looks wonderful too. Highs in the low to mid-twenties and sunshine throughout! I do hope this nice weather sticks around for a little longer. I’m not quite ready to let go yet.
