A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Wednesday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured -6.7 C with calm winds.
Everything is melting and there is water everywhere — including inside my house!
Yup, for the second time in four months I have to deal with water damage in my home but this time it’s not my dishwashers fault. I guess a pipe burst next door and that sent water through the wall — I live in a duplex — and into my home office yesterday while I was on the desk. That’s one benefit of working from home, you get to be there when sh** hits the fan.
Ah well, onwards and upwards.
That melting should keep on trucking along with forecasters calling for warm temperatures all week including a high of 8 C today and 11 C Friday under mainly sunny skies. There will be a slight 10 km/h wind today so not quite as bad as yesterday. I’m excited to go for a walk around the block this afternoon and count the times I almost biff it — fun times.
