A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Friday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured -1.9 C with 2 km/h winds out of the southwest and a -3 windchill.
It’s just so nice.
Especially by March standards because we all know this can go either way. All you need to do is scroll down the page to see what an average day in March can be. It could be 13 C like it was on this day in 2016 or it could be -25 C like it was in 2014 — that’s quite a range. But that’s March.
For today, forecasters are calling for a high of 9 C with winds picking up steadily throughout the afternoon and reaching 20 km/h by early evening. Pretty nice day, I’d say. We’re also looking at another warm weekend to come with highs of 7 C for Saturday and Sunday. So get out there and enjoy the niceness.
Does Lisa need a coat (and mittens)?
