As the heat warnings continue for the city it’s nice to think of things to do inside that don’t make the house hotter.
Some turn on the AC if they have it, some put a bucket of ice behind their fans as a form of AC, some just think cool thoughts and some go to the basement and watch movies.
In 2001 a comedy hit the screens about an intelligent young woman getting into Harvard Law, not for the best of reasons (she wanted to show her recent ex-boyfriend that she can take things seriously so that he would take her back) but ends up showing all the haters and doubters that while her knowledge of things like you wouldn’t take a shower right after getting a perm may seem silly, in the end, people smarts is just as useful as book smarts and make one hell of a lawyer.
