A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Let’s just say, if there was ever a day in favour of the proposed pilot project to allow a beverage with a picnic at a park, it would be today. The idea of relaxing outdoors and having a socially distanced visit with a friend is more enticing than it has ever been considering there are few options for locations to meet up this would just be a fun way to make that easier,
This evening and into the weekend I imagine patios will be pack (as much as allowed) and parks will be busy. Let’s remember to be safe and keep in mind that even outdoors we can spread the virus, so please, continue to be careful. We are all craving social interaction with our favourite people and if we can continue to be safe maybe we can have a summer that feels a little more normal.
No matter what you choose to do today the weather is on our side! Sunny skies, and a high of 19 degrees. Again, I will mention sloping on some sunscreen, take care of your precious skin, my friends.
