A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

What a weekend! That snowstorm was something else! It was spectacular to watch that much snow come down so quickly. At least it was until our windows got covered in snow and we couldn’t see out anymore.

I’m hoping this week will be a little less exciting and hopefully a little warmer so we can say goodbye to the snow. Although it was a lot of fun making the gigantic snowball in the park yesterday.

Right now it is minus 4 degrees and feels more like minus 10 with the windchill. A mix of sun and clouds today and a 30 per cent chance of flurries with a daytime high of 4 degrees this afternoon. A chilly minus 7 overnight.

As this week goes on the temperature improves and we’ll see some sunny days with daytime highs in the double digits.

Today: Sunny early this morning then a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 percent chance of flurries. Wind up to 15 km/h. High plus 4. Wind chill minus 10 this morning. UV index 5 or moderate.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Becoming clear this evening. Wind up to 15 km/h. Low minus 7. Wind chill minus 10 overnight.

Tomorrow: Sunny. Wind becoming southeast 20 km/h in the afternoon. High 9. Wind chill minus 10 in the morning. UV index 6 or high.
