There is nothing better than waking up to the pitter-patter of rain on the roof. We are going to get a good soak today with 10 to 20 mm of rain expected throughout the day. The wind is expected to pick up today with gusts up to 50 km/h.
I do love rainy days but it did make it hard to tear myself out of bed this morning. It was so dark and peaceful. I could have snuggled up and stayed in bed all day if life allowed.
It looks like we find the sunshine again later in the week. Enjoy the sleepy, rainy day while we have it because we needed it desperately.
