A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

So glad I resisted the urge to get flowers planted last weekend. It was the long line ups at greenhouses that steered me away from actually making the plunge. If you couldn’t resist, and I don’t blame you, then I would suggest making the effort to cover those beautiful blooms tonight.

The forecasted low of minus one means all those pretty flowers will be mighty chilly overnight. Looking forward to a weekend with warmer temperatures and more sunshine.

This morning was chilly but the sunshine sure made me happy after the last couple of days which were pretty gloomy. The extra moisture was needed and helped in many ways. The wildfire in Parkland County was 100 per cent contained and fire restrictions in the Edmonton area were lifted.
