The finish line, the destination, the perfect summer day, well those are all real nice. But the race, the travel, the weather — navigating conditions — this makes life. Today folks, we will be treated to some blustery winds, shifting clouds and possibly (squeal with delight) a nighttime thunderstorm. After a daytime high of 16 C, there will be overnight rain (in Spain, it falls mainly on the plain). It’s gonna drop to 10 C in those showers. But guys. It’s still summer. For a whole month. The magpies, ravens and squirrels tapping out seeming dance moves on my (treated) cedar shakes 6 a.m. will swiftly adapt to whatever the skies concoct. And so can you.
