A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
On my walk yesterday I could see buds on the trees while listening to ducks quacking on the pond, birds singing in the trees and bugs buzzing all around, tell-tale signs that nature is waking up from winter and spring has sprung.
Today looks like one of those days where you get a little bit of everything. The morning and afternoon are looking quite nice and then the clouds will roll in and we have a 30 per cent chance of showers in the late afternoon. We will reach a daytime high of 14 degrees.
In the evening the chance of showers increases to 60 percent. Rain turns to flurries during the overnight period and a low of 2 degrees.
Thursday looks a little cooler with a high of 7 degrees with a mix of sun and cloud.
All in all, it’s exactly what we should expect for April in Alberta. Although a really good rainy day would be great to wash away some of the leftover dust and gravel from winter and freshen things up a little.
