Edmonton weather: Think of snow as the icing sugar for the city

A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Thursday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured -4 C with 8 km/h winds out of the west southwest and a -7 wind chill.

I can hear the birds chirping outside my window. I feel a little warmer than the last couple of weeks. I can see the snow falling.

And I think to myself, I’m going to need to buy more salt for the sidewalk because once this all melts it’s just going to be a mess out there. Not to mention the snow on the road is still higher than the sidewalk which does not make it easy either.

But hey, it’s not -45 with a wind chill so let’s break out the mimosas AM I RIGHT!?

Woohoo, budget day!

Does Lisa need a coat (and mittens)?

Today? Yes. With snow falling, I’d say yes, but I’m no doctor.
