A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Thursday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured -15.7 C with 7 km/h winds out of the southwest with a wind chill of -21.
Still a bit chilly out there this morning, eh? Well that’s about to be a thing of the past as we embark on a decent warming trend here that will see temperatures above zero over the next four days. Forecasters are calling for bright sunny skies today with a high of -4 C. there will be a bit of a breeze out there though that will make things feel a bit colder, but no complaints here.
It was just nice to go for a walk in the neighbourhood and see everyone else back outdoors soaking up the crazy blue sky we had yesterday. I’m just happy to be out of the house and breathing air that doesn’t result in pain. Excited for another jaunt around the block later this afternoon!
Side note: I see we’re already walking back that Sunday forecast…it was 9 C yesterday and now it’s 8 C today with clouds added in and maybe rain overnight. This is why we can’t have nice things.
Does Lisa need a coat (and mittens)?
I think we can safely put away the space mittens and break out the ol’ trusty thin $1.99 black gloves.
