Leave it to me to book a hair appointment on a windy day. (Insert eye roll) Why? Usually, you walk out of the hair salon feeling like a million bucks. They take the time to wash, dry and style your tresses to perfection. Then, as you walk out the door you get slammed with a 60 km/h wind gust and those flawless locks are quickly thrown into disarray. It’s depressing.
The wind settles down as the evening goes on and tomorrow promises to be a beautiful day, light breeze, mainly sunny skies and 24 degrees.
It’s going to get hot this weekend! Lots of sunshine and temperatures above 30 degrees. Hopefully, we can find some ways to cool off and enjoy the dog days of summer.
Cross your fingers that I can pull off a sort of awkward windswept look.
