A residential structure fire on Thursday damaged a two-storey home but caused no injuries, said Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS).

Just after 4:20 p.m, six fire crews responded to a call about a blaze near 113 Avenue and 93 Street in the Alberta Avenue neighbourhood where a single-family home was on fire, said EFRS spokesperson Rowan Anderson.

While there were no reported occupants at the time, the “fully involved fire” damaged about half of the house, Anderson said. No further details on damage were available.

The fire was brought under control by 4:50 p.m.
