The Calgary Flames came into enemy territory and gutted out a life-saving 3-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place Thursday night.

The Flames never trailed in this one, scoring first, taking a 2-1 lead into the second intermission and hanging on for dear life in the third period. McDavid came into the game with 15 points in his previous five games, but was held pointless against Calgary for the second time this season.
