A man is in hospital after a Thursday evening stabbing.
Around 6:49 p.m. northeast division officers responded to a report of an injured man outside a home in the area of 68 Street and 119 Avenue.
Carolin Maran, communications advisor for the Edmonton Police Service, said officers located a man who had been stabbed and he was treated on scene by Edmonton Fire Rescue Services and Emergency Medical Services before being transported to hospital.
The man remains in hospital with serious injuries, said Maran.
Maran said officers believe the stabbing was not random and they continue to investigate the incident. There are no suspects in custody at this time.
