A 60-year-old male from Mannville is dead after a fatal collision between his gravel truck and a semi-truck on Friday morning, RCMP said in a release on Monday.
Bonnyville RCMP responded to a report of the collision on Highway 660, east of Range Road 455 at approximately 9 a.m. on Aug. 20.
The driver of the gravel truck was declared dead at the scene, while the 54-year-old driver of the semi-truck from Bonnyville has since been released from hospital.
Emergency crews left the scene on Aug. 21 and an RCMP collision analyst was engaged and is assisting Mounties with the ongoing investigation.
Bonnyville is about 240 kilometres from Edmonton.
