A 59-year-old man is dead following a collision on Highway 60 Thursday evening.
At about 7:15 p.m., Parkland RCMP were called to a serious two-vehicle collision on Highway 60 near Township Road 511.
A preliminary investigation suggests a man driving a motorcycle was traveling northbound on the highway and attempted to make a left hand turn in front of an oncoming SUV. The motorcyclist was struck by the SUV before colliding with the side of another truck.
The 59-year-old man operating the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
RCMP continue to investigate the collision.
