No one was injured after a log fell off a semi-truck and struck a school bus carrying children.
On Tuesday, just after 8:30 a.m. Barrhead RCMP responded to a collision between a school bus and semi-truck and trailer hauling logs.
At the time of the collision, the bus was transporting children to school. An investigation determined that as the truck was turning, a log fell off the trailer and “penetrated” the side of the school bus.
No one on the bus or the driver of the semi-truck was injured.
Barrhead is approximately 120 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
