At around 1:15 Monday morning, police in west Edmonton were called to a rollover involving a Acura TL sedan that had been travelling northbound on the Henday. As the vehicle approached 100 Avenue, the driver lost control, the car left the road and landed on its roof, police said in a news release.
The Acura’s driver and lone occupant, a 20-year-old man, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Police say speed may have been a factor.
The EPS major collision investigations section continues to probe the case of the crash.
