One person is dead following a collision on Highway 16 Sunday night.
At about 7:30 p.m., Parkland County RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 16 at Highway 799.
Police said in a news release the driver of a three-wheeled cycle collided with a pickup truck while travelling west on Highway 16. The driver of the cycle was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the truck was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing but police said alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The name, age, or gender of the deceased are not being released by police at this time.
