Mounties say no one was injured after a plane flipped on the runway at the Ponoka Airport in the midst of takeoff.
In a Thursday news release, RCMP said around 3:30 p.m. they received a report of a plane crash, about 100 kilometres south of Edmonton. When police arrived, they said the pilot, the only occupant on board, had already safely exited the plane.
Transport Canada and the RCMP are investigating.
