Police investigating after southeast Edmonton home struck by bullets

City police are investigating a shooting in southeast Edmonton that saw a home hit by bullets.

Edmonton police responded to a weapons complaint around 1:45 a.m. Monday morning near 34 avenue and 28 Street. It was reported to police that gunshots were heard in the neighbourhood, said EPS spokeswoman Cheryl Voordenhout.

Upon arrival, officers found a home, vehicle and street light had been hit by bullets. No one was injured and police are continuing to investigate.

Voordenhout said no one has been arrested at this time.
