The Edmonton Police Service is investigating a suspicious death of a woman.
Just after 4 a.m. Saturday, officers conducted a welfare check at a home in the area of 93 Street and 111 Avenue where they found a woman dead inside a suite, according to an EPS release.
The homicide section has since taken over the investigation and a male suspect was located in the area of Rocky Mountain House earlier on Saturday. Police are working with RCMP on the case.
An autopsy hasn’t been scheduled yet and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
