RCMP investigating object thrown at vehicle causing serious eye damage on Highway 2

Peace Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a driver sustained severe eye damage when an object was thrown at their car on Oct. 22.

Around 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 22, mounties received a report that a vehicle had been struck with an object while heading westbound on Highway 2.

Mounties say further investigation determined the incident happened between 2:15 and 2:30 a.m. RCMP said a truck was travelling westbound on Highway 2, near the airport, and an object was thrown out their window. The object shattered the windshield of the vehicle which caused severe eye damage to the driver.
