A St. Albert massage therapist has been charged with sexual assault.
On Monday, RCMP said a 45-year-old St. Albert man was facing a single sexual assault charge after a woman came forward on July 24. The woman said she had been assaulted by the therapist during an appointment.
RCMP believe there may be additional complainants and “encourage those individuals to come forward.”
The accused, Rizaldy Parreno, has been released on conditions and will next appear in court Sept. 13, 2021.
Postmedia left a message with Parreno’s office but did not immediately receive a response.
