Salvage: Friday through Sunday, Mile Zero Dance and Lowlands Project Space join forces in a dynamic dance and musical collaboration inside the backyard outdoor gallery, with upcycled work by 13 visual artists. Friday at 8 p.m. it’s Katherine Semchuk with live music by Julian Anderson-Bowes; dancer Jason Romero; and an afterparty with DJ Airisuai. Saturday, also at 8 p.m., we have Mesch Dance Conspiracy with live music by Blipvert; Masani St. Rose; then a second afterparty with DJ TheGiovanni. Finally, 2 p.m. Sunday, it’s Jeannie Vandekerkhove with live music by Mustafa Rafiq; Deviani Andrea with live music by Aaron Macri; and, you got it, a third afterparty, with Rafiq wrapping it up. The shows will also be live-streamed (see the website below.)

Winter in Summer: The edge of September is still technically summer, so if you want to catch the tail end of that and this mini fest, there are still seats in the grass available! Friday night it’s the crisp emotions of Altameda and Laur Elle, then Saturday we have the awesome Scenic Route to Alaska and Josh Sahunta. Catch some live outdoor music while you can in case the future becomes a soggy deposit of cat worms!

Mogul Mowgi (2021): On the brink of his first international tour, Zed (Riz Ahmed), a British Pakistani rapper, decides to fly home to the UK to visit the family he has not seen in two years. In the midst of trying to reconnect with his parents, he is suddenly struck down by an autoimmune disease, complete with vivid hallucinations. Directed by Bassam Tariq, 90 mins.
