A woman was airlifted to hospital in Edmonton after her vehicle struck a moose west of Stony Plain Monday afternoon, say RCMP.
Parkland RCMP responded to the crash near Range Road 11 and Highway 627 around 3:45 p.m.
The woman, the only occupant of the vehicle, was airlifted by STARS to the University of Alberta Hospital where she was listed in stable condition. The moose died at the scene.
