A woman was taken to hospital Wednesday afternoon after she was hit by a car outside an Edmonton vaccination centre.
Police responded to a call of an injury collision in the parking lot of a vaccination centre near 175 Street and Stony Plain Road around 3:45 p.m, said an EPS email Thursday morning. It was reported that a 70-year-old man was trying to park a Dodge Caravan when his vehicle mounted a curb and hit a woman standing in line outside.
The 54-year-old woman was taken to hospital by paramedics with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Police say there is no indication the collision was intentional and the Edmonton Police Service Traffic Section is continuing to investigate.
